TIPA has its own workshop for making traditional costumes of Tibet, Tibetan masks, shoes, hats and musical instruments. TIPA artists have performed in many countries and has a museum for displaying Tibetan folk culture and regional legends with ancient musical instruments and costumes.

The center was opened in July 1977 by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. The center has full courses on Tibetan metal-craft, Wood carving, Thangka painting, Mask making and costume designs.
The selection of the students is made on the basis of talent and economic background. The sole objective of the center is to preserve Tibetan culture and inspire fresh enthusiasm in youth for traditional love for art.

This Institute is staffed by a group of Tibetan physicians who carry out medical herbal treatment and research for over 2,294 drugs. About 200 different pills are produced at the pharmacy and distributed to branches in India, Nepal and abroad.
This medical practice is nearly 2,500 years old and is currently getting more popular all over the world. The Institute also has an Astrology department which makes calendars and birth charts according to the ancient tibetan astrological science.
THE GADEN MONASTIC INSTITUTE: This is the Institute of the Second Oracle and has 20 monks in it.

GADEN CHOELING MONASTERY: This small nunnery was started by nuns where tibetan and international women can come and study spiritual buddhism and practise monastic life. Many such nunneries can be found in Dharamsala today.

Tibetan Children Village..in Tibetan-Places-NamesThe SOS Children Village consist consist of 30 homes , 02 hostel, modern school building and educational and sports facilities from nursery to high school. Today TCV main school in Dharamsala caters for 2000 orphans and other school children of refugees. In total the branches in India/Nepal has over 5000 children. It was started by HH Dalai Lama's eldest sister.
Yongling School: This nursery and home is for those children whose parents go to sell garments in the plains of India.
Tibetan Delek Hospital: This hospital is run by Tibetan doctors and volunteers with 20 beds for patients.
